“Business Gazelles” is the most popular and oldest list of the most dynamically developing small and medium sized companies. It is implemented by economic dailies belonging to the Bonnier Publishing Group. In Poland, the ranking has been prepared by the daily “Puls Biznesu” continuously since 2000.
Verification of data, such as profitability, growth, transparency, reported by entrepreneurs have been conducted by Coface Poland business intelligence analysts. The scope of the analysis is always the past three business years.
The ‘Business Gazelle’ is a title associated with prestige and, at the same time, is a great and important recommendation in business for existing and new contractors. The award reflects the good reputation and credibility of enterprises, which, thanks to their extremely dynamic development, manage perfectly even among much larger competitors.
Only those companies that meet all of the following criteria could apply for the title of Business Gazelle 2019:
- started operation before 2016 and has been conducting it continuously until today
- in the base year 2016, sales revenues ranged between PLN 3 – 200 million
- in 2016-2018 from year to year recorded an increase in sales revenues
- in the years 2016-2018 it did not record a loss
- the analysis of its financial results from at last three audited years are public (by submitting financial statements to courts, submitting data to Coface).
The company’s position on the ranking list is determined by the percentage increase in turnover achieved in the three surveyed years (2018 vs. 2016).
The ranking cannot include companies that had a negative equity value at least once in the period under review.
Companies that offer financial services and related services, such as banks, insurance companies, factoring companies, leasing companies and debt collection companies may not participate in the ranking.
