P&O Ferries planning for Brexit at Calais
April 8, 2019

P&O Ferries have been planning for all Brexit eventualities including the possibility that the UK leaves the EU without an agreement.

If you are shipping multiple consignments in a single load from the UK to France, you must first create an envelope of declarations that will be transported in the same transport unit (truck, trailer, etc.). Please see visit this site for further information.

This means that at check-in, the driver will be able to present the barcode of this envelope and will not have to present all the declarations.
You will need to submit much more information about your booking, consignment and goods than you are used to today. That is why we have set up portal containing information about freight shipping in the event of a ‘no deal’ Brexit. Click here to visit the portal.

We will provide further information in the coming days. In the meantime, if you have any queries please direct them to brexit@poferries.com

Our services

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced stricter controls and measures on how we work and
live, including the freight industry.

Keeping freight moving is essential for the economy. Consequently, Eurogate Logistics
continue to work tirelessly in order to do our part to maintain this vital service.

Most of our staff are now working from home in accordance with healthcare guidelines with a
skeleton staff ensuring the office phones are still manned. The easiest way to contact us is
via email, enabling us to serve you in this difficult time.

We maintain constant contact with our freight partners to keep up to date with availability
and delivery status and can therefore keep you updated with any issues that arise. Transit
times could also be affected due to increased border checks, so we ask for your
understanding and patience.

If you are unsure of who best to contact with your enquiry, please email your local office:
