This meeting was supposedly the greenest ever meeting in the history of the industry. As part of the battle on plastic pollution delegates were provided with BPA free reusable aluminium bottles to drink water; they were also given reusable, recyclable non-woven Conference Bags saving the many standard plastic bags used to carry company brochures; during the summit alternative energy was used to mimimize fossil fuel consumption.

The PCN Foundation has raised over US $30,000 since it began and during the registration for the 2018 Annual Summit, it raised over $3,000 for EDPD, a grassroots Type 1 diabetes charity.
