OPENING OF EUROGATE WAREHOUSE IN WROCLAW

At the beginning of October 2023, Eurogate Logistics will move into 7600 sqm of the recently opened DC4 building at Prologis Park Wrocław III.

The A+ class high-storage warehouse is equipped with 12 reloading docks and two gates on level “0”. Thanks to the use of two storage methods, the facility can simultaneously store and handle over 4,000 pallets on pallet racks and another 4,000 pallets or oversized shipments using block storage. In addition, the warehouse has a zone dedicated to cross docking.

Prologis, the investor of the Park, where the Eurogate warehouse is located, is the world’s largest developer and owner of logistics real estate. The company provides in Poland almost 2.4 million square meters of modern warehouses located in strategic locations, from which it is possible to conduct quick and effective distribution to key Polish and European markets.

LOGISTICS OF THE FUTURE

The DC4 building, where Eurogate starts its warehouse activity, provides modern warehouse space on a total area of 49,000 m2. It was created for an efficient supply chain, in both local, European and global markets. This strategically located logistics park, is adjacent to the airport, which operates direct flights to Warsaw, Frankfurt, Vienna, Copenhagen and Munich. The western ring road of Wrocław’s city center – the A8 highway – runs along the park. Like all new Prologis buildings, this one will also undergo BREEAM accreditation.

 

HIGHEST QUALITY

The Eurogate warehouse has a clear height of 12 meters, reinforced floor load-bearing capacity and increased insulation of the walls and roof. The building is equipped with intelligent lighting systems. Motion sensors that have been programmed in accordance with the needs and guidelines will reduce electricity costs. The facility is equipped with skylights and window panels in the facade, which will provide up to 12.5% natural light. The building has photovoltaic panels and solar collectors. Security is guaranteed by constant monitoring and numerous alarm systems, including a fire alarm system with an automatic extinguishing system. The whole area is ventilated and heated with the possibility of temperature regulation.
